Revelation Online is a new fantasy MMORPG by developer NetEase Games which is scheduled for Closed Beta in Fall of 2016. NetEase is the publisher of World of Warcraft in China and the developer of several long-running Chinese online games.
It is being published in the west by My.com. My.com is primarily known in the west (for MMORPG players) for their handling of Allods Online — a game known for being pay to win (P2W). Recently, however, My.com has made some strides toward making Allods less P2W by adding a subscription server which removes the P2W components, so perhaps that bodes well for their handling of Revelation Online.
From what I’ve seen and heard so far, Revelation Online seems to be a strange mix of Aion and Tera, which may not be a terrible thing.
